Chicken Coop Rentals
As the demand for sustainable and locally sourced food continues to rise, many people are turning to backyard farming to produce fresh eggs and promote eco-friendly practices. Our chicken coop rental service offers an innovative solution for individuals and families looking to experience the joy of keeping chickens without the long-term commitment or initial investment.
Choose from short-term or long-term rental options to suit your needs, whether you're looking to try out chicken keeping or commit for an extended period.
What is included in your rental
Fully Equipped Coops: Our coops are designed and built in house for maximum comfort and safety for two or four hens. Adequate space for the chickens to roam and nest. Ventilation and protection from predators. Easy access for feeding and egg collection
Healthy Hens: We provide breeds known for their egg production and friendly temperament. Rentals include two or four hens. Our hens are well-cared for, and ready to start laying eggs shortly after delivery.
Starter Kit: Each rental includes a starter kit with feed, waterers, bedding, and essential care instructions to help you get started smoothly. Non-GMO and Organic feed are available for an additional fee.
Support and Guidance: Our team of poultry experts is available to assist with any questions or concerns throughout your rental period, ensuring your experience is enjoyable and successful. A chicken care sheet will be provided at delivery and updates on chicken care will be posted weekly on our website and social media pages.
Delivery and Set-up: Free delivery of your chicken coop and pick up at the end of the rental within Kawartha Lakes.

Pricing
Our rental pricing varies based on the length of the rental and the number of hens.
Large Coop Rental – 4 x 8’ Coop with 4 laying hens from May to October. $850.00
Small Coop Rental – 3x 6’ Coop with 2 laying hens from May to October. $650.00
The Cottager – 3 x 6 ‘Coop with two laying hens for up to 3 months (June to August). $550.00
